UK Courier Services
We have contracts with a range of courier companies in the UK and can offer competitive rates for next day delivery of both single parcel and multi parcel consignments. We can also offer you pallet delivery services or a range of dedicated vehicles from parcel van to articulated lorry.
UK Mail
Our sophisticated systems, combined with contracts negotiated with UK and overseas postal authorities’, mean that we can almost certainly offer you savings on your current postage rates.
Within the UK, your package will still be delivered by the Royal Mail but our volumes mean that we have access to more competitive rates. If your volumes are large enough to Mailsort then we would not be able to offer you any savings. However, assuming that they are not then we can probably make your budget go further.
In some instances it may even benefit you to use our postal account rather than your own Online Business Account (OBA) as we may well be able to offer you more competitive pricing.
We can even take pre-addressed items and process them in such a way that you could still qualify for discounts on the cost of postage.
Needless to say we can prepare packs for delivery by alternative Downstream Access operators, if their pricing is keener.
We can also utilise the Royal Mail ‘signed for’ service. According to the Royal Mail, there are only a small number of companies in the UK currently offering a discounted ‘signed for’ service.
In the future it is almost certain that the UK market will become far more complex and operate on a system of zonal pricing whereby post may be delivered by different agents in different parts of the country. Our systems are already programmed and ready for this!
International Mail
We have a range of competitive services to cater for all your international parcel delivery requirements.
Every parcel that we process is weighed and then, dependent upon the country of destination and the service required, the system automatically calculates the optimal routing for the package.
As well as standard and priority services we can offer trackable services, courier services and heavy parcel services – all at competitive rates.
We are also able to offer some less commonly used services. For instance, in certain European countries we can use the local track and trace facility rather than Royal Mail’s standard Airsure option. This means that the post is presented in such a way that it is recognised by the local postman and means that he/she knows exactly how to deal with it. As a result parcels can be tracked with greater accuracy. And, it’s usually cheaper!
